Guest Lectures
What they are and how they work
Learning a language gives you access to a whole culture. The history, the art, the stories behind the things you see.
The Love to Lingo Guest Lecture series brings expert speakers into the Love to Lingo library to talk about topics that matter to them, in the target language.
How it works
Each lecture is a live Zoom session hosted by an expert in their field. You listen, you follow along, and if you want to join the conversation, you can.
Zoom captions are available if you need them.
Every session is recorded and added to the Love to Lingo library.
The first lecture
Our first guest is Claudia - Italianoconlarte , who will be talking about Brunelleschi’s Dome in Italian.
It’s a topic that sits right at the heart of Italian language, history and culture. And Claudia knows how to bring it to life.
The lecture is in Italian. We’d suggest an intermediate level as a rough guide, but all levels are welcome. (You can always put on the live captions/subtitles.)
The session
Friday, 12 June, 19:00 CET
$12 per session
Guest Lectures are also included in a Love to Lingo paid subscription.
Happy (Language) Learning! ♡
Thank you, as always, for reading Love to Lingo.
This space is expanding to include clubs, guides and the opportunity to connect, using the language(s) you’re learning.
Paid subscribers get all of this and immediate access to The Language Practice — a 56-page self-study guide.
If you’d rather pick and choose individual events or guides, that will always be an option. A paid subscription just brings everything together at a lower price.
