It’s even worse because I’ve moved to a different area of Spain where they speak another romance language (mutually intelligible with Spanish) so it’s all a giant mess in my head. I have to stop and think is it “gracias” or “gracies” or ·”grazie”?
Of course the upside is that the grammar is so similar that I don’t have to relearn new concepts, just apply the different forms.

Sounds like a busy month! How do you keep one Romance language ‘out’ of the others? It seems to me like that might be a challenge for me!
