Took me a decade in NYC and I still find new English words I love. Slow is honestly the only way it actually sticks.

Great Paulinho! As with everything, I’d say it depends on your level and time constraints. I usually take an article from The Conversation (they have editions from many countries in different languages). https://theconversation.com/fr Or I use a transcript from a 20 minute podcast. I do NOT read the whole thing aloud later. I just choose a section to read/shadow. I try to keep it flexible and make the process suit what I’m interested in reading/listening. For me, keeping it light means I don’t quit.
